Introducing a refreshed Freedom

Together with the help of our volunteer foster carers, our specialist team has helped many dogs and owners find freedom from domestic abuse. We want to support even more families on their journey to finding safety across the country by updating how our service looks and how we talk about it.

The changes you’ll see

To reflect both our ambitions for the service and the specialist nature of the work we do across both sectors of animal welfare and domestic abuse, we’re focusing on the main benefit of the service - Freedom - and dropping ‘project’ from the name.

We’re also introducing...

          - a new Freedom logo:

          - our own colour palette

          - a design style that helps us stand out from the core Dogs Trust house style, while keeping some visual links back to it.

We will also be changing our main contact email to freedom@dogstrust.org.uk and website name to dogstrustfreedom.org.uk

'We want to reassure you that the service we offer and the ways you usually contact your local Freedom team will stay the same, but we hope that the new look will help us to reach out and help more people (and their faithful friends too) on their journey to freedom'.

- Diane Hill, Freedom Development Manager

Together, we can help more dog owners to find freedom from domestic abuse and we hope that you’ll continue to come on the journey with us.

With best wishes and thanks from

       The Freedom team
